Together, as we navigate through these unprecedented times due to the novel COVID-19 virus, we at Village Cleaners want to wish you and your family good health and safety. Please know that Village Cleaners is actively and closely following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) website, as well as the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute’s (DLI) recommendations and guidelines to properly and effectively handle dry cleaning and laundry during the COVID-19 outbreak. By following these protocol’s and recommendations, Village Cleaners is doing its part to reduce the potential of spreading the virus and can even effectively remove the virus in clothing or textile items.

As we understand the seriousness of COVID-19, and the importance to follow social distancing rules, Village Cleaners has temporarily closed the walk-in lobbies to its retail stores and is serving customers with a drive-thru only service. Additionally, Village Cleaners CSR’s are outfitted with face masks and gloves, are actively distancing themselves when serving customers, and have increased regular cleaning schedules and maintenance. As for payment, we are utilizing credit card on file transactions as well as wireless credit card readers to eliminate contact points during retail transactions. Furthermore, Village Cleaners offers FREE contactless pickup and delivery throughout Salt Lake City that customers are loving during these novel times. The CDC and DLI have also provided protocols and suggestions to assist in eliminating the spread of COVID-19. Village Cleaners adheres to all of these suggestions including the ability to wash with steam heated water at 160* F, utilizing commercial grade detergents that are shipped in from Germany and are registered with their Public Health Institute (Robert Koch Institute) to provide bacterial and verucidal washing methods to remove viruses and bacteria including the coronavirus. In addition, Village Cleaners uses several techniques that are successful at virus removal including the utilization of a dry cleaning solvent that is called Sensene, which is an alcohol based dry cleaning solvent, the use of steam pressing that measures at 400* F to provide that professional look and feel. We want you to know that your clothes and textiles are in great hands when in the care of Village Cleaners.
