How do I become a pick up and delivery customer?

How do I download the free Village Cleaners app?
Search Village Cleaners and then download in the Apple or Android store.
Is pick up and delivery more expensive?
No, there is no additional charge for pick up and delivery. We charge the same amount as if you were visiting one of our retail stores.
What is the turnaround time for pick up and delivery?
Three days. For example: clothes picked up on Monday will be returned on Thursday and clothes picked up Thursday will be returned Monday. Clothes picked up on Tuesday will be returned on Friday and clothes picked up on Friday will be returned on Tuesday.
Where do you pick up and drop off my clothes?
A weather sheltered location near the front porch is most commonly used. We will provide a door hook that can be used for your returned orders.
What type of bag should I put my clothes in for pick up?
Upon signing up, Village Cleaners will provide you with a concierge kit that will include two sturdy and protective bags. If you do not have one yet, just leave your cleaning in any bag in your pick up location with a note that says “Village Cleaners” on it and when the order is delivered we will be sure to include your new bags.
Do I need to be home when they pick up or drop off my cleaning?
No. Our delivery drivers will utilize your predetermined pick up and delivery location and you will even receive a text message or push notification when your once your order has been delivered.
How do I pay for my order?
Your credit card will be charged upon order delivery.
How do you keep my credit card information safe?
We use the latest chip technology and our state of the art system allows us to store security tokens rather than credit card numbers. These tokens are unique to each customer and communicate to the credit card processor where the data is securely stored.
What happens on holidays?
In the event that a major holiday falls on a pick up/delivery day, that day will be skipped entirely. We will deliver your orders the next business day and you can schedule a pick up on your next available day.
Holidays we observe are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Do you do alterations? What is the turnaround time?
Alterations do take slightly longer than our normal 3 day turnaround. We ask for one week, but if you need it sooner we will try to accommodate your request.
Is there a minimum order amount?
No, there is no minimum order amount.
What do I do with all of my extra hangers?
Simply place your used hangers back in your Village Cleaners bag and we will gladly recycle them on your next pick up.
What do I do about special requests?
We will provide “stain” stickers for you to utilize on your items to point out areas of concern (do not use on silk or leather items). You can also use the “special instructions” section in the app to notify us of any special requests or to leave comments you may have.
